Flowers & Orbs

Following the loss of her father in 2018, Sybil Hill Carter began painting a series of circular forms that emerged almost instinctively from the movement of her hand. What began as a quiet, meditative gesture soon evolved into luminous compositions that resemble blossoms, energy, and the rhythms of nature.

Working in mixed media on board, Sybil layers color, ink, and flowing lines to create paintings that feel both organic and radiant. The orbs echo patterns found in gardens, water, and natural cycles—symbols of growth, healing, and renewal.

The Flowers and Orbs series represents a deeply personal chapter in the artist’s life, where painting became both expression and restoration.
