Art with Purpose

Giving through art has been an important part of Sybil Hill Carter’s life and career.

While raising her daughter and building her career as an artist, Sybil frequently donated original paintings to benefit charitable auctions, schools, animal-welfare organizations, children’s programs, and medical causes. Offering artwork allowed her to contribute meaningfully even during years when financial donations were not always possible.

Organizations supported through her artwork have included:

Africa in Action
Bridging Bionics
Susan G. Komen
Aspen Animal Shelter
Celebrity Downhill — Aspen, Colorado
Small Miracles — Aspen, Colorado
Ross Montessori School — Carbondale, Colorado
Animals and Friends — Park City, Utah

Her donated work has helped raise funds for causes centered on animals, children, health, and community well-being.

“Sybil’s artwork is unique. We’re fortunate to have such a gifted artist here in our valley. Claire and I keep looking for more wall space to hang her art.”
